Mix Vege Soup

This is super easy and healthy mix vegetable soup. Either way, this is an affordable and easy soup to put together. I made this with 100% vege, if you're like for a something different you can add chicken sliced or some prawns or what ever you fancy. So basically you will need nothing exotic, everything can be find at local grocery store.
Garlic..Ginger..Straw Mushroom..Baby corn..Chinese Cabbage..Cauliflower..Carrot



1. Add 1-cup water to pot.  Add minced garlic and sliced ginger. Bring to a boil over high heat.
2. Once it is boiled, uncover and reduce heat to medium.Put all the vegetables except Chinese Cabbage.
3. Stir, and add Chinese Cabbage. Add salt or seasoning if you like. I don't. I feel that my amount of garlic and ginger are good enough to bring the taste into the broth.

DIY : Intimate Hygiene Wash

It's inevitable that modern day women have been persuaded by massive healthcare product such as intimate wash that easily available on pharmacy. I don’t, I make my own hygiene wash for years. It is safe, no chemical at all and 100% from local herb, again it is pocket friendly.

To success, you will need:

Wash both betel leaves and oak gall, and boil into a pot, preferably clay pot. Why, it is made from natural clay so your intimate wash will not have harmful chemical ingredient. 

Let it cool in the clay pot, and the mixture will turn a bit dark. I normally put the mixture in a clear bottle and keep in my bathroom. It will last for 3-4 days (morning and night use).



This intimate wash is super great, it fulfill what you will need.
Tips : Please do not wash with soap at your private part. Some soap might cause irritations. If you still need to wash that area with something lathery, get soap with the right pH balanced.

Egg Sandwich

Boiled eggs as door gifts are commonly used in Malay wedding. I have a lot of it and I will make a super easy and simple recipe. Egg sandwich, great for breakfast and brunch or even lunch.

Eggs are a source of significant amounts of protein and are much more economical than protein's most common source such as meat. Eggs are also an excellent substitute for meat, except for people who need to limit their cholesterol intake.
So, to prepare an egg sandwich, you will need:

Fresh Lettuce
Pepper, then grind it to powder to add taste
Bread of your choice and butter or margarine. 
If you are concern about health and cholesterol intake, you can have the egg yolk of 1 egg but if you do not mind the cholesterol content found in egg yolks, you can include all the egg yolks. Egg yolks are yummy.




In a bowl, mix evenly chopped egg and pepper (salt if you like, I don't). Spread some butter margarine on a slice of bread.




Normally I add mayonnaise and mix with the chopped egg. But this time, I don't have mayo. 
Now spread the chopped egg with pepper onto bread. Add tomato slices and lettuce leaves. Top with another slice of bread. Cut into half diagonally if desired before serving. Makes one sandwich

Organic Virgin Coconut Oil and Its Wonderful Beauty and Health Benefit

My confession: I have digestive problem since I was kid. It leads to constipation that makes difficult for me to have a normal bowel movement. Previously, I depend on medicine to have a smooth digestion, until my sister gave me virgin coconut oil to help my digestive problem. And it works! How..? I consume 1 teaspoon of virgin coconut oil daily every morning. The saturated fats present in virgin coconut oil have anti microbial properties and help in dealing with various bacteria, fungi, parasites that cause indigestion. It also helps in absorption of other nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids.
Not only digestion, there are just so many good things about it.
1. Skin nourishing lotion
One day I was running low on my favorite lotion for cracked heels, so I decided to slather some virgin coconut oil on my extremely dry heels and cover with socks before I go to bed. The next morning I found that my heels were soft and smooth, and wonderfully hydrated. Oh it was wonderful! Then I try to make it solid like butter. Keep it on fridge for few hours and apply as usual. It is perfect for dry skin.

2. Eye cream
I don’t use any expensive eye cream as I found that buttered VCO do wonders for my eyes. Even it is oil, you don’t have to worry because it absorbed into the skin fast. It also delays wrinkles, and sagging of skin which normally become prominent with age.

3. Hair mask & moisturizer
Before this I use olive oil as hair mask, it is easy to find and cheap too. Since I use virgin coconut oil as hair mask, I can see the difference between olive oil and VCO, it softens and moisturizes hair much better, and leave shine as well. My auntie says it prevents hair from going premature grey.

4. Weight loss & dieting
Coconut oil is very useful in reducing weight because it contains and medium-chain fatty acids that help in taking off excessive weight. It is also easy to digest and it helps in healthy functioning of the thyroid and enzymes systems. Further, it increases the body metabolism, thereby burning out more energy and helping obese and overweight people reduce their weight. VCO is often preferred by athletes and body builders and by those who are dieting because it contains lesser calories than other oils, its fat’s molecule is super tiny thus it is easily converted into energy and it does not lead to accumulation of fat in the heart and arteries.

So, for those people that listing ‘lose weight’ as new year resolution, get a virgin coconut oil now.

My Gym Routine

My first fitness entry. :) I would like to share my gym routine for my age and my physical level. I normally go to the gym after work, which is during afternoon. Honestly, I never hire a personal trainer, tooooo costly and I think I'm good enough do the work out on my own.

1. For warm up, I walk on a treadmill for about 15 to 30 minutes depending on my mood. Set the treadmill machine to incline 4.5. Warming up is important to loosen muscles by increasing the blood flow and body temperature. It also reduce the risk on injury. 
Few times my warming up session not 'warm' enough and what happen on next day..? My leg's joints stiff, I can’t wear heels and I walk like pregnant penguin. 

2. Jogging and running. By the time I start jogging, my body temperature is ready to receive advance work out. Reduce the incline to 0, and speed around 7 to 9. Now run run run. Run until I’m heavily sweating and I will make sure the % on the treadmill machine will reach 100% or at least 2km of running. Be sure that always on the right posture while running. Heart beat so fast now, time to cool down by brisk walk for about 3 minutes.

3. Cross trainer. This is any different form of activity besides running like cycling, skiing and stepper. I go for ski first for 20 minutes and later I will get the stepper for 30 minutes (Stepper is my most favorite cross training activity). I found that cross training after running is great, because its helps to increase my fitness while giving my running muscles a break. 
My tips: Watch TV during the workout or listen to mp3 or watch other people doing their workouts, it’s downright entertaining and maybe you can learn a new style or trick to the same machine.

4. Sit up part. Sit up (or abs routines) won’t make you skinny because it does not burn fat but it builds muscle. With the aid of sit up bench, I can do 300 sit ups (25 sit up – rest – 25 sit ups – rest – so on). When I’m done with sit up, I go for weight training. Weight training is ideal for increasing my energy and stamina. I’m not always do this because the machines always full. Guys love to do weight training to get muscles. I admit that I’m not very good with the weight training.

That's all my normal gym routine. Here are few tips.
Every time I switch an activity one to another, I drink at least 3 glasses of water to replenish my body fluids to keep my body hydrated. Drink water prior to exercise, while exercising and drink even more water after workout to replenish fluids lost when sweating. 

Sometime I found that doing the same thing every time is boring. So I change it up and see what works best in my situation. Mix up the workout segments to keep it interesting. For example, instead doing sit ups at the machines, hit the floor mat and do basic sit-up.

Once in awhile, leave the gym floor and machines and take different classes like yoga burn, kick boxing, self defense, dancing, body jam or anything that looks fun. It's a nice break and different muscles are used for different routines.

Done with the work out, I will have steam bath before I shower. So refreshing and walk out of the gym feeling powerful, alive and proud.

I believe that many of us trying very hard to reduce weight. I hope my gym routine and tips are helpful.

PMS I don’t hate u.

Apa yang u all bole buat masa tengah menderita akibat sengungut..? J sepak2 dinding..? or mengamuk tak tentu pasal..? Meh I citer pasal PMS. PMS adalah Pre-Menstrual Syndrome



First entry, I nak post an explanation why we (women) sometimes have the urge to throw the emo on our men during PMS and how you (men) should understand, be patience and leave us be. Hehe. Kadang2 boipren/husband kita tak paham kan.. Ikut je apa yang we all nak, jangan merungut sebab skali sebulan je kite alami ni.. Hehe



Actually, bukan nya we all sengaja nak emo2, bcoz we all sensitip to the hormonal shifts masa menstrual cycle tu. Ada org b4 period dia emo, ada org masa tgh period..ada org end of period and ada org whole period tu dia emo J
(See…. we didn’t do it purposedly, it’s the hormone)

Biasanya masa PMS ni, gejala2 yang berlaku kat we all adalah cepat sentap, over sensitip, mood swing cepat sgt, cepat letih, nak moody2 tak tentu pasal, sengal badan sana sini, muka jadi oily masa tu ler jerawat nak datang menyinggah (tak suka tau), pastu kuat makan..food craving. I tak period pun selera mmg macam org datang bulan. Paling seksa is period pain, some women sampai kena MC, ada yang muntah2, even collapse. I penah experienced angkat kawan I collapse sbb period pain ni..sampai termuntah2 dia u, nak marah pun tak guna sbb dia tgh sakit kan. nasib bek dia ringan n bole papah.

** dulu I emo sangat sbb PMS sampai hampir breakoff ngn boipren sbb tak dpt makan McD. Ntah pape betul la bila ingat balik. Don’t let the emo control u.

Personally, I tak ada serious problem dengan period pain, n even now I rasa selesa when the time come sbb I consume EPO daily..haa..apakah itu EPO..?

Oke kita citer pasal EPO pula yea. EPO stands for Evening Primrose Oil. I consume EPO ni since I was a student lagik. Currently I consume EPO from Cosway. J

Tapi tak semestinya u all kene consume EPO brand Cosway juga same as mine. The choice its all urs, either MLM brands or those in the pharmacies, mcm Blackmores ke Kordel ke Biolife ke Seven Seas ke Efamol ke.

Always be a smart consumer - Bila u nak beli EPO, do check the % of GLA available in each capsule. Ada dia tulis belakang botol tu. The higher the %, the purer the EPO and I percaya sgt it will be more effective.  Serasa2 I la, Efamol is the best EPO (wei Efamol tak baya I oke utk ni) each capsule contains 33% GLA. Tapi mahal sikit lah. Tapi the expensive price we are paying is worth it lah. But im doing just fine with Cosway, each capsule contains 10% GLA. Honestly, a week after consume EPO from Cosway, itu bintik2 merah dah tamau tumbuh.. (me suffering from acne problem due to makan jamu – gatai sangat padan muka)
